Hotel Ramada, Amritsar

Hi Guys, My today's post is on  Ramada Hotel, Amritsar . It is located on hall bazaar and is just 1km away from  Golden Temple.  I stayed in this hotel on my visit to Golden Temple. Plastic bottle to a flower pot.

Hi, We all just throw away plastic bottles. Today, lets recycle them and convert them into cute flower pots. I used heinz ketchup bottle. You can also use glass bottle. I have used fevicryl fabric colours to paint it. Now lets started painting. For the dots , I have used pencil with eraser.

We all want out skin to be soft and beautiful. So, today I am going to review  Lotus Hydravitals Massage Cream  which I bought from a cosmetic shop in  Sadar Bazaar, Gurgaon. It is a very nice fragnant cream which is used in most of the beauty salons. They charge you hefty amount for facial but you can do it yourself at home and save money. After scrubbing your face,you just need to take a pea sized amount of cream and little water. Mix together and apply on your face and neck. Keep on massaging gently for around 15-20 mins. After that apply a face pack. Wash it off and you will discover a beautiful and soft skin. MRP  Rs. 795 for 250gms. Pros : Cream is very soft and makes skin smooth.          Economical.            Cons : Does not come in small size packing.

Admission Process for Grade2 in Suncity School, Gurgaon.

Hi Guys, This post is for those parents who are looking for admission of their child in Suncity School. In the past few years, Suncity has earned its name in some of the best schools in Gurgaon. Due to which getting a seat in Sunicity school is a tough job. Today, I am going to write down the process which I went through while looking for admission for my 6 year old in Grade2 for 2019-20.  First of all you have to keep checking the website of the school   very regularly to find out when the admission forms are available. After submitting the form online ,  I was asked to come over for further process. My husband, kid and I went for the same. Again, we were given individual forms each 2 page which had questions like-  How much time you spend with your child?  What activities you do with your child? What are your expectations from the school? It was a tedious task to fill the form as it had so many questions which one need to answer in detail. After submitting the form

A Trip to Lohagarh Farms on Weekend

Lohagarh Farms Recently, I went to Lohagarh Farms with my friends. Lohagarh Farms is around 30kms from Gurgaon. It takes about and hour to reach there. You will have to go through small villages to reach there. Map :      Timings : Sunday,Monday,Friday(9am-6pm)                Saturday-(24 hrs open) Tickets:                 Adults- INR 1150 - Includes breakfast, lunch, full day snacks and all activities.               Child(5-10yrs)- INR 650 - Includes breakfast, lunch, full day snacks and all activities. This place is setup as a village. The moment you enter inside, they welcome you with dholls and put a tilak on your forehead. We reached at 11:00 am. We were very hungry so we rushed to have our breakfast. In breakfast we had, chai-pakoda, rabdi-jalebi, aloo-poori, aloo, parantha. Mouth-watering Gulab Jamun in Amritsar.

On my trip to Amritsar , we went to the local bazaar to shop for some phulkari suits and dupattas. We got tired and stopped for a cup of tea from a local shop. At my back, I saw this shop "Vaishno Bhojan Bhandar", Heere Di Hatti, which had delicious GulabJamun stacked on one another. I Could not resist, and asked for 2 pieces. I must tell you the Gulab Jamuns were very very tasty. When in Amritsar, do try this delicasy. Cheers

Shopping in Amritsar

Hey! I am just back from Amritsar . It is famous for it's embroidered fabric, jutiyan, vadis and papad. Amritsar is famous for  Phulkari  work suits, dupatta, saree and shawls. Phulkari means flower work. I bought a " Pataila Suit " for my niece which has phulkari work on its dupatta.  Patiala suit- Rs. 750 I picked up one dupatta for myself too at a pretty cheap price of Rs.300. But remember, you need to have good bargaining skills for that. Dupatta- Rs. 300 Walking around the  Hall Bazaar , I saw these beautiful, vibrant Jutiyan. Each pair was in between price range of Rs.150 to Rs.4000.  When in Amritsar you can also buy vadis, achar(pickle) and papad. Vadis are available in 2-3 variants like moong daal and urad daal. Kids school vacation- A visit to Jallianwala Bagh Memorial.

Suddenly, the troops of british army entered and blocked the passage with the tank. People were fired by troops of the British Army by the order of Colonel Dyer . Around 1000 were wounded. This was a very sad day in the history of India which we should never forget. Martyr's Well - Around 120 men, women and childrens jumped into this well to save themselves from the brutual killing.
