Admission Process for Grade2 in Suncity School, Gurgaon.

This post is for those parents who are looking for admission of their child in Suncity School. In the past few years, Suncity has earned its name in some of the best schools in Gurgaon. Due to which getting a seat in Sunicity school is a tough job. Today, I am going to write down the process which I went through while looking for admission for my 6 year old in Grade2 for 2019-20. 

First of all you have to keep checking the website of the school very regularly to find out when the admission forms are available. After submitting the form online, I was asked to come over for further process. My husband, kid and I went for the same. Again, we were given individual forms each 2 page which had questions like- 

• How much time you spend with your child? 
• What activities you do with your child?
• What are your expectations from the school?

It was a tedious task to fill the form as it had so many questions which one need to answer in detail. After submitting the form, we were asked to wait till the previous parents come back. We were then guided to the a lady's (co-ordinator I believe) room. The lady was warm and welcoming. She first asked the child's name and made him comfortable. She asked a couple of questions to the child like- colours in the rainbow, simple maths sums, Where does your parents work, vowels etc. Suncity school does not have any written test for Grade 2. We then left for the day.

After 2 days we were asked to come for an interaction with the Principal of the School. We greeted her saying Good morning. She was neither very harsh not very welcoming. She asked few questions to check the child's personality and confidence.
