On Baisakhi, people gathered from neighbouring villages and were having a peaceful meeting. Suddenly, the troops of british army entered and blocked the passage with the tank. People were fired by troops of the British Army by the order of Colonel Dyer . Around 1000 were wounded. This was a very sad day in the history of India which we should never forget. Martyr's Well - Around 120 men, women and childrens jumped into this well to save themselves from the brutual killing.
